Wool dye for the home dyer. Dye wool easily and safely at home: Just add the dye to a pot of water with a little acid (white vinegar), add your fibre/fabric and gently heat. For dyeing wool, silk, alpaca, mohair, angora, cashmere, llama, camel, possum, yak, bird feathers, nylon (polyamide) and soybean fibre. These are acid dyes and will not dye cellulose fibres such as cotton or synthetics like polyester and acrylic.
