The merino is prized for growing the softest fleece of all sheep breeds. This New Zealand merino sliver comes from the South Island where the arid climate is ideal for growing high quality fine fibre. The sheep are well cared for and are not mulesed. Merino is a lovely wool for hand spinning into next-to-skin soft yarn, or felting into a soft, smooth felt. Choose from carded roving/sliver or combed top fibre preparations.
