Drum Carder

Ashford's new, improved drumcarder. Now including a packer brush and cleaning brush. Two speeds. Use the 6:1 for carding fleeces and the 4:1 for blending pre-carded fibres into smooth, even batts. Adjustable drum clearance for extra fibre control. Handle is easy to turn and rubber feet prevent slippage. Very useful tool for spinners and felters who wish to card and blend a variety of fibres quickly and efficiently. The Coarse 36 PPSI cloth is for stronger wools and fleece with more vegetable matter to remove. The Fine 72 PPSI cloth is recommended for fine wools, silk, alpaca and other fine fibres. Pre-assembled - minor set-up is required.
