Lazy Kate: The Kiwi's Lazy Kate is not tensioned. Many spinners find it easier to ply when there's some tension present to stop the bobbins overspinning. See the Competition Lazy Kate
Natural or Lacquered? Keep in mind that if you choose "lacquered" for your wheel and then choose an "add-on" accessory, this "add on" may only be available with a "natural" (unlacquered) finish.
Finishing Your Wheel: If you choose the "natural" option, the wheel and accessories are easy to finish yourself with wax polish, wood oil or get creative with some paint!
